Our Story
NOTAM Viewer was born from frustration with existing NOTAM search tools. As pilots ourselves, we found that:
- Official FAA NOTAM websites were slow and difficult to navigate
- Most tools displayed raw NOTAM text without any formatting or parsing
- Searching through hundreds of NOTAMs for relevant information was tedious
- Mobile access was poor or non-existent
- Free tools were limited, and good tools cost money
We decided to build something better - a tool that we would actually want to use for our own pre-flight planning. What started as a personal project has grown into a platform used by pilots worldwide.
